Terms and Conditions

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required to secure your booking.
Confirmation: Your place is not guaranteed until the deposit has been received and cleared.
Balance: The remaining balance is due 6 weeks (42 days) before the tour start date. If the balance is not paid by this time, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and retain the deposit.
Late Bookings: For bookings made within 6 weeks of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Cancellations by You: All cancellations must be made in writing.
- More than 42 days notice: Deposit is retained; no further balance due.
- 42 days or less: The full cost of the tour is non-refundable.
Note on Refunds: If you cancel within 42 days and we are able to fill your spot from a waiting list, we will refund your balance payment (minus the deposit and a small administration fee).
Cancellations by Us: In the unlikely event that we must cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., guide illness), you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date. We are not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred outside of the tour fee.

Mandatory Coverage: It is a condition of booking that all participants have their own comprehensive travel insurance. This must cover personal injury, medical expenses, and cancellation or curtailment of your trip.
Equipment: We strongly recommend that your insurance covers your personal property, including cameras, lenses, and optics. We accept no liability for loss or damage to your equipment during the tour.

Weather: Tours typically run regardless of weather. However, if the guide deems conditions unsafe (particularly for boat safaris or coastal cliff walks), an alternative land-based itinerary will be provided. No refunds are given for changes in itinerary due to weather.
Flexibility: Wildlife is unpredictable. The itineraries provided are a guide only. We reserve the right to alter the schedule based on tides, weather, and recent sightings to ensure the best possible experience for the group.

While we use extensive local experience to maximise opportunities, no specific wildlife species can be guaranteed. Nature is wild and sightings are subject to luck and environmental factors. Refunds will not be issued if a particular species is not seen.

Participation: Guests participate at their own risk. By booking, you confirm you are fit enough to undertake the walking described in the tour itinerary (often involving uneven ground and slopes).
Safety: Guests must follow the safety instructions of the guide at all times, especially near cliff edges or on boats.
Ethics: The welfare of the wildlife is our priority. We reserve the right to ask a guest to leave the tour if their behavior causes significant disturbance to the wildlife or other guests.

We may occasionally take photos of the group or participants for use in promotional materials or social media. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform the guide at the start of the tour.
